Ghania Al Derazi

"Dr. Ghania Al Derazi started her career with the National Bank of Bahrain, during which she assumed various roles such as managing corporate banking, trade finance, regional banking, financial institutions, as well as syndications and transactional banking. She currently holds the position of Assistant General Manager for the Head of Commercial Banking & SMEs, working on offering financial services tailored to meet the needs of medium and small sized enterprises in Bahrain. Her higher educational background started with a Bachelor in Finance and Marketing with Distinction, from St. Edward’s University, during which she received the Academic Excellence Scholarship, and was in the Dean’s List of Honors. Her Masters degree was in Business Administration from the University of Wales. For her Doctorate in Business Administration from Durham University, she completed the coursework with Honors and won the Best Thesis Award for 2016. She had also joined the Leadership Development Program from Darden Graduate School of Business, University of Virginia."
