Founded in 2021, Bazaara is the UAE’s largest community marketplace app for buying and selling resale fashion. Our mission is to serve as a social community connecting buyers and sellers to redefine the shopping experience in the Middle East by combining technology, people and inspiration. Bazaara’s easy-to-use interface, low fees and shipping integration ensures a seamless shopping experience for everyone.

Product

Bazaara is a mobile-first platform, enabling our community to buy, sell and trade resale fashion. To sell, upload pictures of an item, categorize it and choose a price. Buyers can search and filter through the items and complete a purchase. The courier is automatically dispatched to pick up and deliver that item, and after delivery, the seller is automatically paid.

Business Model

We take a 12% commission, in addition to the fixed delivery cost and the seller’s desired profit. We are soon introducing a tiered pricing model and subscription model allowing.

Target Market

$10 billion MENA secondhand clothing market. Specifically, for sellers, GenZ and Millennial local and expat populations. For buyers, mainly GenZ and Millennial expats, with locals specifically for luxury, vintage items.
