Mario Braz De Matos

Mário is a brand & innovation veteran who went from over a decade of client side work with Unilever & Nokia, to an entrepreneurial & consulting career, across challenger brands & crowdsourcing. Prior to Flying Fish Lab, Mário was Chief Solutions & Marketing Officer at eYeka, a crowdsourcing platform, developing its Innovation offering and leading the Unilever account globally. In 2011 he became the first “Challenger Associate” globally, being trained and accredited by eatbigfish in their tools, after co-founding Cookwork.com At Nokia he led the Marketing Services team for the Middle East & Africa region, helping to build a $6bn business across 69 countries, and winning multiple global awards. His career started at Unilever where he worked in local, Innovation Center and regional roles, across Europe & Brazil. He graduated in Economics from Nova and holds qualifications from INSEAD and Wharton. He’s lived in 11 countries on 4 continents, worked in 35 countries, and speaks 5 languages.
