Flat6Labs in partnership with Entrepreneurship Academy powered by SANAD is launching a pre-acceleration program focusing on the empowerment of female entrepreneurship and developing their validated concepts to the growth stage. This will be achieved by equipping them with primary knowledge and tools; thus, enabling them to initiate their journey, and advance their chances of success through developing competitive products and services. The online program will be focused on assisting female entrepreneurs, at the Minimum Viable Product-MVP stage, to lay the foundations for a prosperous startup.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE APPLYING

Once you are selected to join the Program, you’ll receive training and coaching from field experts. The top three startups will receive monetary prizes with a total of $5,500 and a multitude of perks and services.

Selection Criteria:

A Formulated and an innovative idea
Teams of 2-3 entrepreneurs
ِA full-time commitment to the program
Tech-enabled startup
Female focused
It is preferable but not limited to: Have a social impact, Located in Upper Egypt

SELECTION PROCESS

Apply

The program’s call for applications is announced on official communication channels (website and social media) signaling the eligibility for all interested applicants to apply to the five-week pre-acceleration program. To join our program, interested applicants could apply on the website filling in a form detailing the basics of their idea or business.

Interviews and Selection

Once all applications have been submitted, the program’s management team will review every application carefully and interview applicants and shortlist the best 10 ideas that will be selected according to the identified criteria to join the 5-week incubation program.

Program Implementation

The online program will be focused on assisting female entrepreneurs, at the Minimum Viable Product-MVP stage, to lay the foundations for a prosperous startup by emphasizing market penetration strategies and strengthening the effect of startup empowerment on economic development. The curriculum is developed in Arabic and features English business terminologies. The program span 10 weeks for 10 startups, and will feature online training sessions, workshops, and mentorship by market experts.

Pitch Competition

A total of 10 startups will be showcasing a 4-minute presentation of their idea in front of the team and judges. The top 3 startups based on the top scores provided by the judges will win monetary prizes.
