Ali started his career in 2002 in Procter & Gamble. He worked in IT in several roles the last of which was the Dammam & Dubai Plant IT Manager in 2007. After this initial stage of his career, he started working on widening his experience in the business support functions taking on Purchasing & Facility management in addition to IT during his tenure in Emaar the Economic City, and later adding HR to his portfolio during his tenure in AMS Baeshen & Co. Ali is currently the GM of Corporate Services in Rolaco Trading & Contracting Company. He is responsible for IT, HR, Facility Management, Purchasing, Government relations, and Insurance.
Ali also served as the Secretary of the Board of Directors during his tenure in AMSB.
During his career, Ali has led several large scale projects including ERP implementations, HR Redesigns, and office relocation projects.
Ali’s strengths are in the area of providing the link between support functions and business goals and driving the business agenda through value-add services.
Ali holds the Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional in HR (PHR), HR Management Professional (HRMP), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), and Six Sigma Black Belt certifications.
Ali graduated from KFUPM with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering with honors in 2002.
