Aiham Al-Akhras is Head of Business Development and Operations for Fujitsu Middle East.
Since joining Fujitsu in 2006, Aiham has served various management roles overseeing sales, delivery and operations. During that period, Aiham developed and executed start-up businesses, turnaround strategies for loss-making countries back to profit, and sustained success strategies for different countries. This led to growth of multi-million dollar services business profitably with approximately 500 employees across 104 countries in Eastern Europe, Russia & CIS, Middle East, Africa and India.
Prior to joining Fujitsu, Aiham worked as a Management Consultant where he provided business advisory services, market research and feasibility studies for both public and private sector.
Aiham is a qualified Computer Engineer, holds a Masters in International Business with distinction from University of Wollongong, and a Professional Diploma in Smart City by Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Aiham is also a regular speaker at IoT & Smart City industry events. He was awarded best smart city innovative project for 2015 by RIT.
