Gilles Fayad

Gilles is an innovation addict with over 20 years in new products development and ecosystems management worldwide. He started as an engineer in Canada’s Nortel Research Labs tackling videoconferencing and speech recognition, moved to California to manage VoIP and multimedia products at Rockwell Semiconductors, then to Texas Instruments in France to lead smartphone processors new features introduction. He was then brought to Dubai for building Qualcomm's ecosystem for emerging technologies such as IoT, Augmented Reality, Indoor-BasedPositioning, Drones, and Robotics. His latest achievement has been the definition of Smart Cities services for NXN, a leading smart city consultancy group. He is now focused on Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Processing at the edge.
