Eric Van Biesen

Eric van Biesen is a Belgian CFO, Advisor, Board member, deputy CEO, and Author, specialized in financial institutions in general and in Fintech startups in particular. Van Biesen was the group/regional CFO of various financial institutions and FinTech startups in the MENA/GCC region, such as Medgulf, tour, Takaud, Lockton and Paytabs. as well as in the hospitality sector with Sho-Me. He also served as board members of Globemed Bahrain and is currently a board member at RM Investment Advisors, as well as an advisory board member at Sho-Me. Van Biesen is a reference in the financial industry when it comes to Digital Transformation, IFRS implementation, ERP selection and implementation, financial modeling, company valuation and raising capital/debt. Prior to that, he was in the banking sector, managing treasury sales in ING bank in Brussels and in ABN-AMRO in Saudi Arabia (Saudi Hollandi Bank). He graduated from the University of Paris 9 (Dauphine) in France, and Katholiek Universiteit of Leuven in Belgium.
