Rawah Alfalah Badrawi is an Author and Community Worker with a background in Finance. Rawah received a BSc in Economics in 1995 from Georgetown University, and went on to work for JP Morgan's Oil and Gas group in the New York Office. She also worked in Al Ahli United Bank in London, covering Middle Eastern Capital Markets. In 2005 she joined Concord International Investments in Cairo as an Executive Director in their Corporate Finance Group, a position she held until 2010. Rawah currently works on various writing projects to promote Egypt, her first title "Siwa" was produced with partners Omar Hikal and Khaled Shokry by Haven Books of Hong Kong, and sold around the globe, with proceeds directed to fund development initiatives. Rawah is involved in a number of community and social projects aimed at improving the lives of people living in distressed communities.
