Waleed Sorour has served as Farminal Chief Executive Officer since April 2014. Mr. Sorour has more than 5 years of experience in business development and sales of technological solutions. In his early days of collage Mr. Sorour founded Niledevelop Company offering web design and hosting services. After graduation in 2009, Mr. Sorour founded RFID In Region targeting to spread the technology of RFID in Middle East. The company was delivering market researches, consultations and media partnerships. Dairy farming is Mr. Sorour’s family business for more than 15 years, in addition to his experience of consulting for the implementation of some RFID based solutions in cow farms during his work at RFID In Region. Considering the need for automating dairy farms and the potential of using vision technologies in the field, Mr. Sorour founded Farminal.
Mr. Sorour holds Bachelor of Science degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Higher Technological Institute, 10th of Ramadan, and currently pursues his Masters in Management of Technology at Nile University.
