Since he cofounded ITWorx in 1994, Wael Amin has been responsible for steering the company through its remarkable growth and transformation into a regional software powerhouse.
At ITWorx, he quickly went to work creating a one-of-a-kind environment for software engineers with flex time, recreation areas and the occasional food fight. Under his tenure ITWorx has encubated and spun off a number of successful startups, including otlob.com and NetCelera. Wael is a frequent lecturer on Managing Professional Services, sits on the curriculum advisory board of the American University in Cairo, and is a founding member of the Software Engineering Competence Center in Cairo.
Wael received his BSC in Computer Science at AUC in 1993, and his MBA from AUC in 2004. He is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Arabic.
