Ramy is a graduate of the American University in Cairo, Class of 1998 with a BA in Political Science, specializing in International Relations with a minor in Economics.
At age 22, right after his graduation, Ramy joined Chemonics International (a world renowned management and consultancy firm and the prime US AID contractor in Egypt) . Over the course of these 3 years he came in contact with several business cultures including American and French and was groomed primarily in project management.
At the age of 25, he co-founded www.intoegypt.com to be Egypt’s first and foremost travel portal. he was the managing partners in charge of sales and marketing. They pioneered this field in Egypt and the region and received several awards from the EU, UN CTAD, Cabinet of Ministers and the IFITT.
At age 30 and after the success of intoegypt, he co-founded and currently is a board member of intodevelopment LLC (www.intodevelopment.com), a pioneer in the field of digital marketing . The company currently boasts an impressive portfolio of leading companies and multinationals in several sectors including education, banking, travel, hospitality and automotive. In the same year, he co-founded and currently is a board member of Elements SAE. A publishing and production house offering marketing and communications services.
Over the course of the past 10 years, Ramy has conducted several quantitative, qualitative and syndicated research work as the Country Analyst for Euromonitor International covering various industries. Ramy is also an active member of several social development initiatives with the American University in Cairo (Entrepreneurship Program, Entrepreneurship Interest Chapter, Business Plans Competition, Experts in Residence) and consultant in addition to Injaz’s Student Company program as mentor.
